WHAT IS LOTVISION?

LotVision is a free vehicle tracking system that enables dealersand transporters to quickly and accurately locate any vehicle at a Manheim auction location.

HOW DOES LOTVISION WORK?

LotVision relies on a small tracking device that enables you to locate vehicles on the Manheim lot. If your location services are enabled on your device, you will be able to see where you are relative to the vehicle on the lot.

WHY SHOULD I USE LOTVISION?

Location information:

LotVision eliminates the need to search for vehicles on the lot, allowing you to locate vehicles real-time. Manheim’s auction properties are massive and can contain thousands of vehicles on location at a time. LotVision allows you to find your vehicle quickly, accurately, and in real-time.

Diagnostic Trouble Codes:

We’ve added diagnostic trouble code information into LotVision for most of the vehicle on our lots. View code information by reviewing the new “DTC Codes” column on the main search results page, or click the VIN to see additional code details for the vehicle you are interested in.

CAN I REMOVE THE TRACKING DEVICE?

No, only Manheim team members should remove the device once the vehicle is ready for pick-up. As a reminder, Manheim auctions no longer allows personally owned OBDII (on-board diagnostic) devices to be used on our lots; therefore, we cannot accommodate requests to remove the tracking device to check trouble codes.

HOW ACCURATE IS LOTVISION?

LotVision is accurate to within 10 feet of your vehicle.

HOW DO YOU ACCESS LOTVISION?

A. To access the LotVision Map and search for a vehicle at a Manheim location:

» Scan the LotVision QR code at any LotVision enabled location or

» Visit https://www.mymanheim.com/lotvision/ - scroll down and click on the link for the location you want to view.

B. If you have bought or sold a vehicle and want to locate that vehicle on the lot:

» Buyers - access LotVision through Manheim.com or the Manheim mobile app by selecting the icon in the Post Sale Management ‘Purchases Tab’

» Sellers - access LotVision through Manheim.Com or the Manheim mobile app by selecting the icon in the Selling Center under ‘View Inventory’ LotVision can be accessed in multiple ways:

How do I access diagnostic trouble code information in LotVision?

Code information is available for most vehicles on our auction lots. To view, select the auction location from the dropdown menu, then search for up to 300 vehicles at a time by VIN or work order numbers. On the main search results page, we’ve added a new column called “DTC Codes”. This column will include the 5-character trouble code number for any DTCs that our LotVision trackers have detected for that vehicle. Clicking the VIN of a specific vehicle will allow you to view additional code information such as a plain text description of the code and a timestamp of when codes were last read. This generic diagnostic trouble code information is set and standardized by SAE, International.
